ADVOCACY INITIATIVES
At Roosevelt @GWU, we seek to combine innovative policy ideas with strategic, well-planned advocacy to make them happen. Every semester, we embark on a variety of campaigns to implement our member ideas for local change. We believe that the best advocacy campaigns are rooted in well-researched policy; likewise, we believe that policy is made best relevant when actively advocated for implementation. A core tenant of our organization's mission, we also believe that our policy ideas should incorporate the proposals of the community in which we live in, so we seek to build relationships and alliances with local community organizations to enhance our work.
